Borussia Dortmund’s home kit for the 2022/23 season refers to the club’s founding in 1909, but it is not yet available to everyone.
Black and yellow striped Borussia Dortmund will play its home matches in the coming season. The new home kit, which BVB presented on Friday, is intended to combine “tradition and modernity”.
Details include the “Borussia connects” lettering at the back of the neck and a special pattern that has been worked into the jersey but only reveals itself when you look closely: It symbolises the windows of the inn “Zum Wildschütz”, where the club was founded in 1909.
This Saturday, the BVB professionals will wear the new outfit for the first time in the home match against Hertha BSC. Some fans will have to wait a little longer. According to the club, the women’s and baby versions are currently unavailable due to delivery problems, as are the goalkeeper jerseys.
