Kylian Mbappé has picked up an injury against Turkey and is out of action for the time being. It is not yet clear how serious the injury is.
Superstar Kylian Mbappé (27) is set to leave the French national football team’s base following his injury-enforced substitution.
National coach Zinédine Zidane confirmed after the Nations League match in Turkey (1–0) that they did not want to take “any risks”. Mbappé was substituted shortly after scoring (54’) due to knee pain.

“Unfortunately, it doesn’t look good,” said Zidane after his debut, commenting on the condition of the Real Madrid striker.
“I think he’ll have to return home,” he continued, whereupon the reporter asked whether the tournament was over for Mbappé: “Yes, because we don’t want to take any risks. He hyperextended his knee whilst shooting. It doesn’t look very promising.”
Shortly afterwards, the French Football Federation (FFF) announced that Mbappé would return to Madrid for treatment due to a “tendon injury”. France face Belgium on Monday. This will be followed by the clash with Italy and the return leg against the Belgians.
