Wrestling star Darby Allin has made history – not in the ring, but in a completely different field: the popular show fighter from the second-largest US league AEW is the first wrestler in the world to conquer Mount Everest.
Known for his extreme performances in and out of the ring, Allin reached the summit of the world’s highest mountain, at 8,849 meters, on Sunday and later posted a photo from the highest point on Earth on Instagram – with a flag bearing the All Elite Wrestling logo.

The 32-year-old Allin has been taking a break from wrestling since the end of last year to pursue his long-announced mountaineering mission.
The charismatic Allin is considered the league’s next world champion, and last year a feud with current title holder Jon Moxley was already in the works. However, it remains to be seen when Allin will be able to return to the ring.
