“Raps in seven” – Raptors prevent sweep

The first three games of the series between Philadelphia and the Toronto Raptors all went to the 76ers. However, the Canadians prevailed in game four to extend the series.

There’s still not much to be said for Toronto in the series, but at least the Raptors have now ensured that at least one more game in Philadelphia is on the schedule. After three wins in a row for the 76ers, it was 110-102 for the Canadians on Saturday, with newly crowned Rookie of the Year Scott Barnes scoring six points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

The outstanding man for the home side was not the 20-year-old, but Pascal Siakam, who scored 34 points, 15 of them in the last quarter. He was supported on this evening by Gary Trent (24 points). Even the star duo Joel Embiid (21 points) and James Harden (22 points) could not prevent the defeat of the guests.

No team has ever managed to advance after a 0:3 in a play-off series. At least the fans of the Raptors seem to believe in it, because at the end of the game a “Raps in seven” echoed through the hall.
