Despite Corona case: No restrictions for Dresden

Dynamo Dresden has found a positive corona case in the team environment. However, the preparations of the promoted team for the 13th matchday are not affected.

The SGD announced on Wednesday afternoon that the health authorities of the city of Dresden have given the green light for the Saxons to continue training and matches without restrictions. Although there has been one positive Corona case in the team’s environment, this player has already gone into quarantine, according to Dynamo.

All other players can continue their preparations for the upcoming match day unhindered. As all players have been fully vaccinated, they do not have to be quarantined either by order of the local authorities or those of the DFL as long as they are symptom-free.

Dynamo Dresden will host Holstein Kiel in the opening game of matchday 13. Even in the event of a free transfer, this match is likely to come too soon for the player in quarantine.
