Altmaier loses first round match in Indian Wells

The Masters in Indian Wells is over quickly for Daniel Altmaier. He loses in the first round, the long wait overnight was in vain

Tennis pro Daniel Altmaier has been knocked out of the Masters in Indian Wells in the first round. Altmaier lost 4:6, 3:6 against the French qualifier Lucas Pouille.

The match was postponed on Wednesday at 1:2, 30:0 on Altmaier’s serve due to the persistent rainfall in the Californian desert. Dominik Koepfer, on the other hand, was eliminated after losing 3:6, 6:1, 6:7 (3:7) to Alexander Shevchenko from Kazakhstan
