2 titles in 20 days: Sevilla’s new signing wins the double

Nicolas Villalba triumphed in the La Liga FC Pro. It is the second title in 20 days for the Argentine, who only joined the Andalusians in February

A landmark day in Seville. While the professional footballers in the Derbi Sevillano against Real Betis want to take the next step towards staying in the league, eFootballer Nicolas Villalba is currently playing for titles.

Having just lifted the cup twenty days ago, he was now set to win the La Liga FC Pro championship. Despite his success in the La Liga FC Pro Cup, ‘Nicolas99FC’ was not necessarily the favorite going into the final round. After all, the Argentinian had qualified for this by the narrowest of margins. He was level on points with Adrian Cifuentes of UD Las Palmas in Group A, but had the better goal difference.

This prompted Villalba, who qualified for the eChampions League and World Cup thanks to his success, to change his mindset, as he revealed in an interview with the organizer: “I saw every game in the knockout round as an isolated challenge. That was good for me. That’s also why I certainly played my best game of the tournament in the semi-final.”

Villalba clearly beat Daniel Fernandes 7:2 in the semi-final, but the 2022 World Championship runner-up also showed little mercy before that, as he also left nothing to be desired against Jacobo Chousa in the previous round. Only the match in the first round was close. In the duel with ex-Sevillista David Sanchez, Villalba prevailed 3:2

Upgrade for Showdown-Ocampos

A success that will certainly please one or two Football Ultimate Team (FUT) players in FC 24. EA SPORTS provided a Showdown SBC for this match. Lucas Ocampos and Lucas Robertone were used to illustrate this match between Sevilla and Almeria. As ‘Nicolas99FC’ emerged victorious from the digital pitch, the seven-time Europa League winner’s item has been upgraded.

Incidentally, the publisher and developer’s mishap has now also been rectified. The player images of the items were mistakenly swapped – Robertone captured Ocampos’ item and vice versa.
