20 FIFA players qualified for the play-offs via the VBL Open in February, runners-up Dylan ‘DullenMIKE’ Neuhausen wants to reach for the title.
It was the dream final of the 2020/21 season: With Umut ‘RBLZ_UMUT’ Gültekin and Dylan ‘DullenMIKE’ Neuhausen, arguably the two best German FIFA professionals faced each other in the final of the FIFA Individual Championship. The title went to the Leipzig player after two narrow victories (2:1 and 1:0), leaving ‘DullenMIKE’ in second place.
Neuhausen can and wants to forget this bitter final defeat in the current season, the first step towards the Grand Final 2022 has already been taken by the NEO professional. ‘DullenMIKE’ asserted himself in the VBL Open of the previous month and is thus one of 20 new qualifiers for the play-offs.
Famous names of big clubs
The German eNational has made his mark on Xbox, competing once again with SC Freiburg. Also qualifying for the play-offs on the Microsoft console are VBL pros Levy Finn ‘levyfinn’ Rieck from Hansa Rostock and Marvin ‘Karpfenlive’ Schmidt-Tychsen as well as Leipzig’s youngster Ben ‘RBLZ_Kette’ Kettenbeil.
On the PlayStation, Jeffrey ‘HSVJeffrey’ Aninkorah from Hamburger SV, Aymane ‘Aymane’ Mokallik from Eintracht Frankfurt and Georgios ‘PGeorge7_’ Papatolis from Borussia Mönchengladbach, among others, made it into the play-offs. In January, for example, the two youngsters Fabrice ‘whiteezz05’ Weiß and Max ‘Diviners’ Gröne had triumphed.
20 Open places still available
This means that ambitious players who have not yet qualified for the intermediate round via the VBL Open or one of the Community Cups only have March left to continue their dream of the German FIFA Championship. The play-offs will follow in May, but the DFL has not yet announced the exact dates.
