Valorant Game Changers aims to promote diversity in eSports

The Game Changers event provides a platform for female and non-binary Valorant professionals. This year, the first offline tournament is to take place in the German capital Berlin.

The Valorant Game Changers Championship is coming to Berlin. The first LAN tournament in this series of events will grace the capital city from 15 to 20 November. This event was created to promote diversity in eSports. It is one of the biggest stages for female and non-binary gamers in eSports.

“More visibility for discriminated genders in eSports “

The tournament series was held for the first time last year. The season aims to “create new opportunities and visibility for women and other discriminated genders in eSports.” After a successful first tournament series played exclusively online, the event is now expanding and will be held internationally for the first time this year.

The Valorant Game Changers Championship will feature eight teams from six regions: EMEA and North America will get two qualifying spots, while Brazil, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and East Asia will each get one spot.

Participants will be selected in local Game Changers tournaments that will take place throughout the year. More detailed information on prize money and the venue in Berlin is still unknown.
