Bryce Mitchell causes outrage with disturbing statements about Adolf Hitler. He is still allowed to compete in the UFC.
The disturbing statements made by MMA fighter Bryce Mitchell will have no consequences. UFC President Dana White condemned the American’s praise of Adolf Hitler, but wants to let him continue competing.
“I’ve heard a lot of stupid and ignorant stuff over the years, but this is probably the worst,” White said in a UFC statement.
The fighter has been let know that his statements are unacceptable. But, according to White: “It’s freedom of expression. That’s the beauty of this business: everyone who hates Bryce Mitchell can watch him get beaten up on TV, hopefully worldwide.”
UFC fighter pays homage to Hitler with disturbing statements
Mitchell had expressed himself as a Hitler fan and denied the Holocaust.
“I really believe that Hitler was a good guy, based on my own research and not on my indoctrination by public education,” Mitchell had explained in a podcast: “I really believe that before Hitler was on meth, he was a guy I’d go fishing with.”
The UFC fighter then made disturbing statements about Jews, homosexuals and transgender operations.
White made it clear: “He’s an idiot”
White countered. “Hitler is one of the most disgusting and malicious people to ever walk the earth, and anyone who even tries to take a contrary position is a moron,” said the UFC boss.
That’s the problem with the internet and social media: “They provide a platform for a lot of stupid and ignorant people.”
