World number one Jannik Sinner has reached the last sixteen at the tennis tournament in Halle, Westphalia. The 22-year-old Italian won his opening match against Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor 6:7 (8:10), 6:3, 6:2.
Sinner converted his first match point after 2:22 hours. The Australian Open champion now faces Hungary’s Fabian Marozsan.
