Three-time Grand Slam finalist Ons Jabeur (31) gave birth to her first child in Dubai on Monday. The tennis player from Tunisia, who has been on a break since the 2025 Wimbledon tournament, announced the birth of her son Elyan Kammoun on Instagram. “A little miracle, a life full of love,” Jabeur wrote with a family photo.
Public well-wishers included companions such as Belinda Bencic (Switzerland), Coco Gauff (USA), Elina Svitolina (Ukraine), Caroline Garcia (France) and Sabine Lisicki. The All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon, where Jabeur celebrated her greatest successes with two final appearances (2022, 2023), also sent its congratulations.

Jabeur was the first player from the Arab world to reach a Grand Slam final at Wimbledon in 2022. Thanks to her victories on the professional tour and her openness, she is regarded as the “minister of happiness” in her home country.
Since 2015, she has been married to Karim Kammoun, who is also her fitness coach. Jabeur has announced that she will return to the WTA Tour after her maternity leave.
