Mike Könnecke tested positive for the Corona virus by PCR test
This was announced by FSV Zwickau via Twitter. According to the statement, the health authorities have ordered a 14-day quarantine for the 33-year-old midfielder.
There have been no other conspicuous COVID-19 tests around Zwickau’s first team in the past week. The 3rd division match against league leaders Magdeburg, which was actually scheduled for Saturday, had been cancelled after 13 Corona cases at the leaders, so FSV are not in action this weekend anyway.
Könnecke has made nine appearances so far this season.
