Pogba will have to take a break for weeks

Juventus Turin will have to do without their new signing Paul Pogba for the next few weeks.

According to the Italian record champions themselves, the 29-year-old Frenchman is suffering from a meniscus injury in his knee, which is being investigated further.

According to a report in the “Gazzetta dello Sport”, Pogba will “very probably” need surgery and will be out for at least two months. The international had moved back to Turin this summer from Manchester United, where he had already played from 2012 to 2016. His contract is valid until 2026.

Juve will start the new Serie A season on 15 August with a home match against Sassuolo Calcio. On Wednesday night (2.30 a.m.), the Bianconeri will test against FC Barcelona in Dallas on their trip to the USA with Robert Lewandowski.
