Tennis player Andrea Petkovic has reached the round of 16 at the WTA tournament in Washington.
The 34-year-old safely defeated Denmark’s Clara Tauson 6-2, 6-2. At the 251,750-dollar hard-court event, the Darmstadt native will now face Rebecca Marino of Canada, who had already defeated American Venus Williams in three sets on Monday.
