The 31-year-old local hero became the first German to win a title at Europe’s biggest MMA promotion “Oktagon MMA”. In the main fight of the evening, Dalisda won the strawweight title against Jacinta Austin from Australia.

At the next event in Germany on 18 November, up to 20,000 fans are expected in the Cologne Arena. “This is the next step on the journey. We have to do pioneering work,” said Philipp Masurat, Germany boss of Oktagon, at the “SID MixedZone”.
The goal is “that we fill football stadiums in the future and raise the excitement to a new level – maybe with 50,000 to 60,000 people,” he said.
