Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari F2004 is coming as a LEGO Icon!

Following Ayrton Senna and Nigel Mansell, LEGO is launching another Icons set: Michael Schumacher and his Ferrari F2004.
Formula 1 fans can look forward to adding another LEGO Icons set to their shelves soon, as details of a set featuring Michael Schumacher’s world championship Ferrari have been leaked ahead of its release – it’s the F2004 from the dominant 2004 season, in which Schumacher clinched his last title.

The LEGO Icons sets include a Formula 1 car measuring approximately 30 centimeters in length and the respective driver. Other sets in the collection include Nigel Mansell with the Williams Racing FW14B and Ayrton Senna with the McLaren MP4/4.

The Williams and McLaren sets cost €79.99 each on the manufacturer’s website, so it is likely that the Schumacher set will be in the same price range.

The F2004 was one of Schumacher’s most dominant cars, winning 15 of the 18 races in the 2004 season. It secured Ferrari’s sixth consecutive Constructors’ World Championship and Schumacher his seventh Drivers’ title. Formula 1 announced its partnership with LEGO in September 2024, which will include sets for preschoolers to adults.
“The LEGO brick has sparked creativity and a passion for building in millions of children and adults around the world,” said Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1.

“Through this partnership, fans will be able to recreate and reinterpret the world of Formula 1 brick by brick, playfully delving deeper into the intricacies of the mechanics and technology behind the sport,” she continues.

“We look forward to bringing the drama and excitement of Formula 1 to the passionate network of LEGO builders and giving our fans another way to enjoy the sport with friends and family.” Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer at the LEGO Group, adds: “At the LEGO Group, we have a proud tradition of recreating many Formula 1 cars from LEGO bricks in the past, and we are confident that this new partnership will help bring the spectacle of the sport even closer to all fans.”

“It will allow them to celebrate their passion for the sport in a more immersive and exciting way, and the power of LEGO creativity and imagination will further enhance the thrill of Formula 1.”

“We look forward to revealing everything this exciting partnership has to offer both lifelong and new fans of the Formula 1 and LEGO brands – at home and at the racetrack,” said Goldin.
