LoL: Strauss Prime League play-offs set

Eng, tighter, Strauss Prime League: Tied in the group ranking, SK Gaming and BIG had to fight in a tiebreaker for the play-off positions.

The deciding match started out expectedly close, with BIG getting off to a better start, but after a good twenty minutes the match quickly tipped in SK Gaming’s favour. The team from Cologne then made short work of it and secured the coveted place in the upper bracket of the play-offs by finishing 2nd in the group ranking, which at the same time guarantees a place in the top 3 and thus entitles them to take part in the European Masters. At these, SK will be represented for the first time since 2019.

After the successful tiebreaker, SK Gaming will now face the Unicorns in the Upper Bracket, who took the crown in the group rankings with 15 wins to three losses.

BIG, meanwhile, have to settle for third place in the Regular Season and thus start tomorrow evening at 6pm in the Lower Bracket against MOUZ. The winner of the two will then face the winner of the match between Schalke 04 eSports and Eintracht Spandau, before the loser of the Upper Bracket will play for a place in the final in the next round.
