Real Madrid have made a major slip-up in the race for the league title. Despite taking the lead, the Whites lost to Betis in Seville on Saturday evening. Former Madrid player Isco scored the winning goal from the spot.
Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was able to count on Mbappé again after the victory in the cup at Real Sociedad (1-0), who returned after dental surgery.
