Hasan ‘Hasoo’ Eker will no longer play for FC Schalke 04 in the coming season. This was announced by both the player and the club.
After eleven months, FC Schalke 04 and Hasan ‘Hasoo’ Eker will end their cooperation. According to his Twitter post, the FIFA professional’s contract will end on 30 September and will not be extended.
In a short message, both the player and the club thanked him for the past year. For the coming season, Eker is still looking for a new club.
More successful at international level
With the Knappen, he finished eighth in the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) Club Championship in the 2021/2022 season. Only his club colleague Julius ‘Juli’ Kühle was able to represent the royal blue colours in the Grand Final via the VBL Open. However, he was eliminated in round one against Tim ‘TheStrxngeR’ Katnawatos.
At the FIFAe Club World Cup, on the other hand, things went better for S04. Kühle and Eker reached the knockout round without any problems and fought their way into the quarter-finals against NEO. But that was the end.
