Great sympathy for Princess Kate

The All England Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon sends its best wishes to Princess Kate, who is suffering from cancer. Her Royal Highness is patron of the All England Club and a popular figure on the tennis scene

The All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon has sent get-well wishes to Princess Kate, who is suffering from cancer, via social media. “The thoughts of everyone at the All England Club are with our Patron, Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and their family at this time,” wrote the AELTC. “We wish the Princess well as she takes time to fully recover.”

Princess Catherine (42) announced in a video message on Friday that she had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. There had long been speculation about the state of health of the wife of the heir to the British throne William and daughter-in-law of King Charles III.

Catherine, known to the world as Kate, has been the patron of the legendary tennis tournament on the grass courts in south-west London since 2016. She succeeded Queen Elizabeth II. Unlike the long-serving Queen, who was more drawn to horse and dog racing, Kate is also passionate about the white sport. She occasionally picks up a racket herself, has a fearsome forehand and awards the trophies to the winners at the Church Road course year after year.

In addition to the All England Club, the Tunisian Ons Jabeur also sent her best wishes. The two-time Wimbledon finalist wrote on X about a picture she shared with the Princess: “Your Royal Highness, I am thinking of you and sending you comforting hugs. Wishing you a speedy recovery. “
