Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz will face each other in the men’s final at the French Open. Where to watch the match.
Can Carlos Alcaraz defend his French Open title or will Jannik Sinner claim his third consecutive Grand Slam victory? These questions will be answered on Sunday afternoon.
With his victory over Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinals, Alcaraz prevented an all-Italian final, while Novak Djokovic prevailed against Zverev’s conqueror.
In eleven matches, world number one Sinner has only celebrated four victories so far, while Alcaraz (world number two) has won the pairing seven times.
The two last met in the final in Rome, with the Spaniard winning 7-6, 6-1. Sinner’s last victory dates back to 2023, when he beat the Spaniard 7-6, 6-1 in the semifinals in Beijing.
The two superstars have never faced each other in a Grand Slam final. “Especially on this stage, it doesn’t get any bigger,” says Sinner: “We are two players who make each other better, we push each other. A match like this is not only fun for the spectators, but also for us.”
