Formula 1 Weather 2026: The Current Forecast for Monaco

The current weather forecast for the sixth race weekend of the 2026 Formula 1 season, the Monaco Grand Prix at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo

These are crucial questions for every race weekend of the 2026 Formula 1 season. Namely: What is the weather forecast? Can we expect wet track conditions on site? Will intermediates or even rain tires be needed? Or will it simply remain consistently dry from practice through qualifying to the race, making dry tires sufficient? In short: What should drivers like Nico Hülkenberg, Max Verstappen, and Lewis Hamilton prepare for?

To answer these questions, our editors keep a close eye on the weather at the Formula 1 venues several days before the start of testing or race weekends. And as the event progresses, this preview article is updated with the latest weather data—including temperature in degrees Celsius, wind speed, cloud cover, and expected precipitation—for each day of the weekend.

The result is the most accurate weather forecast possible for the respective Grand Prix races of the 2026 Formula 1 season. However, all information is provided without guarantee; after all, some motorsport venues, such as Spa-Francorchamps or the Nürburgring, are known for having particularly changeable weather that cannot always be accurately predicted. Precipitation can also occur there without warning.

The next time Formula 1 hits the track in Monte Carlo will be from June 5 to 7, 2026, for the Monaco Grand Prix, the sixth race weekend of the year.

Grand Prix (Race starts at 3 p.m.)
On Sunday, the weather remains the wild card of the weekend. Temperatures will reach around 20 degrees Celsius, with thicker clouds repeatedly moving over the track. Isolated showers are possible, but currently, the outlook points more toward a mostly dry race than a rainy Grand Prix. The wind will remain light and is not expected to play a decisive role.

Initial forecasts for the 2026 Barcelona Grand Prix:
In mid-June, temperatures in Barcelona range between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. With an average of eleven hours of sunshine per day, conditions are expected to remain mostly dry—ideal conditions for Formula 1
