FC 24: Title Update 9 weakens Trivela shots

The Trivela shots in EA SPORTS FC 24 will be significantly weakened by Title Update 9. Initially, however, only on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

20 meters goal distance – outside instep shot – goal. In FC 24, the so-called Trivela finishes are usually crowned with success. With the upcoming patch, however, this may no longer be the case.

The publisher has announced that Title Update 9 will “reduce the effectiveness of outside instep shots for players with or without the Trivela PlayStyle and PlayStyle+”. In addition, the “accuracy of outside instep shots” has been “moderately” reduced, while the “potential maximum topspin the ball can have on an outside instep shot” has been reduced slightly more.

But not only the Trivela is undergoing changes. The next patch will “improve the AI positioning and marking decisions of teammates in back-pass scenarios”. In addition, “the player selection logic when using secondary holding” will be updated.

Stability issues in FUT fixed – minor bug fixes in match career

Some problems in the career mode should also be history. In the player career, there were apparently duplicate requests in the decision tab as well as training sessions in which the professional created by the user was not on the pitch. In the manager career, on the other hand, youth players could have the Lupfer PlayStyle without the actually required prerequisites

In Ultimate Team, Title Update 9 fixes a “stability issue that could occur when placing a previously developed player item in an evolution slot”. Also: “Some player item rarities may have been displayed incorrectly”, which should now be corrected. Just like the video player in the news menu, which could not be expanded to full screen, and the pyrotechnics, which appeared “in rare cases in the middle of the playing field.”

For now, only the old-gen versions are affected

There were also “updates to advertising boards, player models, trophies, fan chants, jerseys, hair, sleeve sponsors, badges, boots, balls, starheads, stadium themes, VIP areas, match scenes and tifos”. Problems “such as the incorrect positioning of the defense wall in some set-piece skill games and incorrectly placed walls in the practice arena” have been fixed – as well as “cases where the user interface was not displayed correctly and stability issues with placeholder texts and images.”

It is interesting to note that Title Update 9 will only be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the near future. According to EA SPORTS, other platforms will follow “in the near future”.
