The DTM is expanding its event program at the Lausitzring: How the ADAC is creating a festival atmosphere and how you can also watch the World Cup
In the past, live concerts were a common feature of the DTM’s supporting program—such as the performance by pop icon Gianni Nannini in Misano in 2018—and now the ADAC is reviving this tradition: During the upcoming DTM weekend at the Lausitzring, “Dick Brave” (aka Sasha) will give a concert in the fan zone of the paddock on Saturday evening.
Since the Lausitzring is particularly popular with campers, the ADAC is aiming for a true festival atmosphere this year, as Sasha’s rockabilly project—best known for the song “If You Believe” and active since 2002—is not the only act of the evening.
Before that, the Coldplay tribute band Goldplay.live and DJ Tomekk, who has been a frequent guest at the DTM, will perform. The open-air concert is free for all ticket holders; for everyone else, admission is 59 euros. Children and teenagers under 16 get in free when accompanied by an adult.
There’s entertainment even after the concerts: Starting at 10 p.m., the German national team faces off against the Ivory Coast, with the match broadcast via public viewing.
But entertainment isn’t limited to Saturday—it starts as early as Friday evening, away from the action on the racetrack. Specifically, there will be an open-air cinema: In the evening, the DTM Fan Zone will host the Cinestar Open-Air Cinema, featuring the 2014 Hollywood film “Need for Speed,” based on the video game of the same name.
The third race weekend of the season won’t be the only one in the 2026 season to feature an additional event program: “Dick Brave” will also be performing at the season finale in Hockenheim.
This follows the success of the format at the 2025 season finale in Hockenheim, which is why the concept has been expanded for this season: At that time, chart-topping artist Kamrad and the legendary crossover band H-Blockx performed behind the South Stand.
With the additional entertainment program, the ADAC aims not only to attract hardcore racing fans to the track but also to provide an experience for the whole family. This is intended to further increase attendance figures following the growth seen over the past two years.
