Paris Saint-Germain’s already formidable offense is getting even deeper. Just a few hours after signing Ferran Torres, the Champions League champions also secured Mika Godts. The 21-year-old is joining from Ajax Amsterdam for a hefty transfer fee.
Things have been rather disappointing for Ajax Amsterdam in recent times, while Paris Saint-Germain has been performing better than ever: For Mika Godts, the move to the Champions League winner of the past two seasons is therefore a significant step.
According to Dutch media reports, the French club paid a total of just over 55 million euros for the 21-year-old versatile attacker, who usually plays on the left wing. Godts has signed a contract through 2031 and will wear the number 22 jersey.
In 32 league games last Eredivisie season, Paris’s newest addition scored an impressive 17 goals and provided 12 assists; however, despite the possible departure of Bradley Barcola, the Belgian national team player will likely have to wait his turn at PSG for now. In particular, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s starting spot on the left wing could hardly be more secure—and with World Cup final hero Ferran Torres, PSG signed another top-tier player just this Saturday morning who can play in all three attacking positions.
Coach Luis Enrique has already rotated his lineup extensively in the league during the 2025–26 season and is likely to do so again next season—which increases Godts’ chances of seeing playing time.
“I’m incredibly proud to be joining one of the best clubs in the world,” Godts is quoted as saying in the PSG press release. “I’m looking forward to wearing this club’s jersey and getting to know the Parc des Princes and its fans.”
