DFB opens investigation against Bellingham

The DFB’s control committee opened an investigation against BVB professional Jude Bellingham (18) on Monday.

Jude Bellingham’s frustration in front of the TV camera on Saturday night after the 2:3 against Bayern will have repercussions for the young professional.

About referee Felix Zwayer  Bellingham had said: “You give a referee who has refereed games before, the biggest game in Germany. What do you expect?”

On Monday, the DFB announced that the control committee had opened an investigation into the 18-year-old Englishman. Bellingham was asked to submit a written statement. “Once the statement is available and has been evaluated, the control committee will decide on the further progress of the proceedings,” the DFB said.

BVB coach Marco Rose on Monday once again addressed the incidents in the top match against FCB. “I would be lying if I said that left me cold. I had a restless night because we felt unfairly treated. And I’m a person who stands for justice. “

Rose’s hint at the impending Bellingham penalty

But, Rose continued, “now we should still put a spanner in the works at some point. The DFB, in its own way, has moderated the issue via small interviews. Nevertheless, I still believe, after watching several times, that double standards were applied too often in this match. But when it comes to the topic of moderation, I think it should be basically moderated and everything that could still come should simply be left out. “

By which Rose may have meant a retrospective penalty for Bellingham.
