Corona break over: Krauß is back in FCN training

Nürnberg midfielder Tom Kraußis back on the training pitch for the first time after his Corona illness

The second forced break within a short time has come to an end. Krauß, 20-year-old on loan from RB Leipzig, is back on the training pitch, as 1. FCN announced today.

The midfielder had to leave the German U-21 national team early last week due to a positive Corona test.

Krauß missed the EM qualifier against Poland and will also miss the national team against San Marino in Ingolstadt on Tuesday.

For Krauß, this was already the second break within a few weeks after the head injury he sustained in the match against Hamburger SV (2:4) at the end of October.

The 20-year-old has made twelve appearances for the club in the 2nd division this season and has been convincing. He was a wild card in both games for the U21s under new coach Antonio Di Salvo, and got on the scoresheet in the 5-1 win over Hungary.

After the international break, 1. FC Nürnberg play again on Friday away at SV Sandhausen.
