Hansi Flick’s team has already won the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa – all three milestones achieved with victories over arch-rivals Real Madrid. The only blemish in an otherwise fantastic season was the narrow defeat in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
For Flick, the start at Barça could hardly have gone better. One player who is flourishing under the former Bayern coach is Raphinha. “I wanted to leave the club before the start of the season, but the coach changed my mind,” the Brazilian said in an interview with the association. “He has changed my entire career. I’m having the best time since I started playing soccer, and I owe that to him.”

EA SPORTS FC 25 reflects the winger’s rise to sporting prominence: Raphinha receives a total of 19 attribute points spread across nine categories. The improvements are particularly noticeable in crosses and long passes (both +4). His overall rating and potential in career mode also increase by one point each.
Teammate Lamine Yamal, who scored a spectacular goal in El Clásico, also benefits from the Barça boost in the game. His technique with the ball has been upgraded, and in addition to a higher overall rating (+1), his new career mode potential now stands at 95 points. If he maximizes this, he could become the best player in FC 25.
Inigo Martinez and Ferran Torres also receive upgrades, including a plus point in their overall rating and potential. The situation is different for talents Pau Cubarsí and Dani Olmo: Although Cubarsí’s overall rating rises, his potential drops from 90 to 89. Olmo, who has been plagued by injuries recently, loses out exclusively in terms of potential, dropping from 87 to 86.
