Borussia Dortmund II have secured the services of striker Justin Njinmah from Werder Bremen. The 21-year-old has been loaned out until 2023.
Njinmah, who moved to Holstein Kiel’s youth development centre in 2018 and featured for the Störche’s U19s and U23s, joined Werder Bremen in the summer of 2020 to play in the Regionalliga Nord. He has now signed a professional contract with SVW, but will initially be moving to the 3rd Liga.
With Nijnmah, Dortmund have acquired a striker who is capable of scoring goals: The right-footer scored 14 goals in 18 Regionalliga matches for the Green-Whites’ Regionalliga team, and in a total of 29 Regionalliga appearances, the flexible attacker brought his tally to 18 goals and eight assists.
