Bellingham gives the all-clear for the Clasico

On Thursday Jude Bellingham did not train with the team. However, the stricken Real Madrid performer will be in the Clasico, as he himself stated

It was just a scare moment. When Jude Bellingham had to be treated during the Champions League match at Sporting Braga (2:1), the fans had ill omens in view of the upcoming Clasico on Saturday. Twice the top scorer had taken to the pitch before finally leaving after brief treatment in the 89th minute.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti had already stated after the game that only the adductors had been a little strained, then on Thursday followed the complete all-clear from Bellingham himself. “I will be at the Clasico,” he said in an interview with the TV channel “TVE”. On Thursday, Bellingham worked in the hall with the physiotherapists, and tomorrow he is expected to rejoin the team training.

Joselu, who was absent last Tuesday against Braga due to flu, has also returned to training and has since recovered. Ancelotti can also call on Nacho again, who served a two-game suspension after being sent off against Girona.

Quartet remains out

Dani Ceballos and Arda Güler, on the other hand, will not be involved. Ceballos is still recovering from his recent muscle injury. Güler trained with the team on Thursday, but is continuing his fitness regime for the time being. Long-time injured Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao were out of contention anyway.
