The FC Ingolstadt has signed a new managing director. Dietmar Beiersdorfer (57) knows German professional football from many years as a player and an official.
Beiersdorfer will become managing director of sport and communications at the Schanzer. This was announced by the Upper Bavarians on Tuesday morning. The ex-national player, who played for Hamburger SV and Werder Bremen for many years, will be introduced at a press conference in the afternoon. As manager and sports director, Beiersdorfer also worked for HSV, but also for the RB Group and at Zenit St. Petersburg.

Chairman Peter Jackwerth sees Beiersdorfer as “the best possible decision for this key position and our club”. The Franconian is “exactly the right man for the job with his CV and his know-how”.
