Arsenal Linked To Higuain

Sky Sports and many other sources are linking Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain to Arsenal. The gunners have been linked with the Argentinean two years ago but they failed to do.

According to reports, no official offer has been made for the Serie A top scorer from the gunners but Arsene Wenger’s intermediaries are holding talks with Higuain’s brother who is his agent.

According to several journalists, Higuain was offered by a Chinese club to make him the most expensive player in the world but the forward is interested in a move to the Premier League.

Arsenal Linked To Higuain Arsene Wenger has been in the transfer market in the search for a striker but has been unsuccessful in the pursuit up till now. Jamie Vardy rejected a move to the Emirates and signed a four-year contract with the EPL champions Leicester. Lukaku was also linked to the gunners but no development has been in that respect.

Arsenal Linked To Higuain Alexis Sanchez suffered an injury during the final of the Copa America and will most likely miss the starting part of the new campaign. Moreover, the only recognized striker at the North London club, Olivier Giroud will also miss out the starting part of the season so Wenger must look for reinforcements.

Higuain scored 36 times last season with Napoli and grabbed the golden boot in the league. Unfortunately, for Arsene Wenger, Arsenal would need to make the poacher their club record signing to bring the star to London.

Arsenal Linked To Higuain Signing Higuain could be bad news for Giroud as Arsenal plays with one striker and the French striker might lose the pecking order in the club. While some reports claim that Wenger might be interested in a trade plus cash deal of Higuain and Giroud.

Giroud’s agent was asked about a potential move to Napoli and the agent replied that the French star would love to play for the Italian club. Moreover, player’s agent Michael Manuello claimed that it is a wonderful city and Giroud would welcome the move. Additionally, the Napoli manager’s tactics and style of play would definitely suit Giroud.

The agent further went on said that Olivier Giroud is currently happy at London. However, if the club asks him to leave, the forward would look at his options.
