Omos, the 2.20-meter man who disappeared from WWE over a year ago, is back—in the partner league in Mexico.
The 2.20-meter-tall ring giant Omos is back in the spotlight – in Mexico.
The Nigerian, who has not been seen with his actual employer WWE since spring 2024, appeared on Saturday night in the AAA league, which was acquired by WWE a few months ago. At the major event Triplemanía XXXIII, he won the Copa Bardhal Battle Royal to kick things off. Omos wasn’t the only WWE star to get involved in Mexico City: German export Ludwig Kaiser even appeared in the main event – with his new identity.
WWE giant Omos appears at AAA
Omos was last seen in WWE as a participant in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the day before WrestleMania 40. Now he is already making his second international guest appearance in a league cooperating with WWE: In January, the market leader “loaned” him to Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, where he was briefly tag team champion alongside Jack Morris – but was then suddenly withdrawn.
Now Omos has caused a stir on the other side of the Pacific: he won the annual Battle Royal, which also featured three WWE colleagues, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde and Otis – and, in a gag typical of the country, the diminutive Microman, whom Omos, who is 1.20 meters taller, eliminated with a throw onto the already eliminated participants.
What a return for OMOS, winning it all at Triplemania XXXIII!

Also taking part in TripleMania were Judgment Day, Los Garza (Angel and Berto) and Natalya. In the main event, Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo was challenged by three WWE stars: Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano – the masked emperor who is currently standing in for the injured Chad Gable.
Vikingo emerged victorious at the end of the chaotic four-way battle when another WWE star intervened and prevented Mysterio from winning unfairly: AJ Styles, who thus continued his feud with the reigning Intercontinental Champion.
