Because Ferrari and Alpine also want to unveil their new cars on January 23, Haas is forced to move to another date.
This is something you rarely see: Haas has postponed its planned presentation of the VF-26 so as not to unveil the car for the new 2026 Formula 1 season on the same day as some of its competitors.
Haas had originally planned to present its car on Friday, January 23, but has now brought the launch forward to Monday of the same week, January 19.
Haas had already announced at the beginning of December that it would choose Friday as its presentation day – shortly after Alpine had already announced its launch for the same date. It would have shared the spotlight with the French team, but another presentation would now overshadow Haas’ unveiling.

Ferrari will also be unveiling its new car for 2026 to the public on January 23. That’s too much for Haas: “To avoid a glut of team presentations,” according to the American racing team, they are now switching to a different date. Following Red Bull and the Racing Bulls, who will be the first teams to reveal their new designs next Thursday (January 15), Haas will now be the third team to present its colors for 2026.
The presentation of the VF-26 will be held online and will include digital renderings and a video.
Haas will continue to compete with Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon in the coming season. However, there is a change on the sponsorship side, with Toyota taking over the title sponsorship from MoneyGram, meaning the team will now be known as TGR Haas F1 Team. The engine will continue to come from partner Ferrari, with whom there is an intensive collaboration.
