Canadian Milos Raonic was ranked number three in the world and made it to the Wimbledon final.
Canadian Milos Raonic has ended his career as a professional tennis player. The former world number three and Wimbledon finalist announced this on social media. “I have been the happiest person because I was able to fulfill my dreams out there,” wrote the 35-year-old. Raonic had not played in a tournament since his first-round exit at the 2024 Olympics against Dominik Koepfer. The powerful server Raonic won eight ATP titles in his career, most recently in January 2016 in Brisbane with a final victory over Roger Federer. In his only major final, he lost in three sets to Andy Murray at Wimbledon in 2016. Raonic also reached the semifinals of a Grand Slam tournament twice: in 2014, he lost in straight sets to Federer at Wimbledon, and in 2016, he lost in five sets to Murray at the Australian Open.
