Ferrari has signed three new drivers for its driver academy, whilst Dino Beganovic will move up from Formula 2 to become a reserve driver in 2027

Ferrari has announced its junior driver programme for the 2027 season, revealing three new signings for the Ferrari Academy: Alp Aksoy from Turkey, Salim Hanna from Colombia and Daniel Miron from the Netherlands are joining the Scuderia.

In return, two familiar names will be leaving the junior programme but will remain associated with Ferrari: Rafael Camara will move up to Formula 1 next year to become a regular driver for Haas, and Dino Beganovic will not be spending another season in Formula 2 either.

The Swede, who currently sits fifth in the Formula 2 standings and has secured two race wins this season, will support Ferrari’s Formula 1 team as a development and reserve driver, sharing the reserve role with former Formula 1 driver Antonio Giovinazzi.

Ferrari’s new spearhead in the junior programme will be the Finn Tuukka Taponen, who will compete in Formula 2 for ART. In 2026, he finished third in the Formula 3 championship – though two podium finishes and one victory were enough to secure that position.

In Formula 3, the team is relying on two drivers: newcomer Salim Hanna and the Italian Niccolo Maccagnani: Hanna had already stepped in for the injured Brad Benavides at AIX for two race weekends in 2026 and otherwise competes in the European Formula Regional (FREC), whilst Maccagnani is moving up from Formula 4 and was already able to race for Rodin at the season finale in Madrid.

In the F1 Academy, the team will continue to support the Danish driver Alba Larsen, who is already racing for Ferrari this season. Although the 17-year-old will then be entering her third season in the women’s series – something that was not previously possible – a rule change has been introduced for 2027: An exception may be made for female drivers if a third season would be beneficial to their development.

Newcomer Alp Aksoy will compete in the FREC, whilst Noah Baglin and Filippo Sala are moving up from karting to Spanish Formula 4. Ferrari’s youngest member, Daniel Miron, aged 13, will be competing in karting.
