From 9 to 11 October, Hamburg will once again become the hub for the gaming, cosplay and anime scenes. The Polaris Convention promises shows, creators and major exhibitors – and we’re giving away 1×2 tickets.
From 9 to 11 October, the Polaris Convention returns to the Hamburg Messe. Once again, gaming, anime, cosplay and creator culture will come together there. It is precisely this mix that has defined the event since 2022.
When it comes to the programme, the organisers are once again focusing on well-known names and major shows. Among those taking part are ‘PietSmiet’, ‘DoktorFroid’, ‘CrispyRob’, ‘Rocket Beans TV’ and ‘Trymacs’. There will also be features such as ‘PietSmiet Breaks World Records’, the ‘Loot for the World’ charity auction and ‘The Great POLARIS Hide and Seek’.
From Nintendo to the Cosplay Contest
In total, the organisers are expecting around 350 exhibitors. Nintendo, amongst others, is wrapping up its summer tour in Germany at the Polaris Convention and will be bringing games such as “Mario Kart World” and “Yoshi and the Mysterious Book”. Playa Games and ARD/NDR have also confirmed their attendance.
Cosplay remains another key focus. On Saturday, the main stage will host the big cosplay competition, complemented by workshops, cosplay tables and other activities. Anime fans can look forward to a voice actor talk on the Neo Taki Stage, amongst other things: Daniel Schlauch, the German voice of Monkey D. Luffy from *One Piece*, will be there, whilst Max Felder is known to many as the German voice of Ron Weasley from *Harry Potter*.
The Neo Taki World is already a must-visit destination for anime fans. It is curated by Creator Nino Kerl. The content there revolves entirely around anime, manga and Japanese pop culture.
