Riot Games Unveils New Anthem for Valorant Champions 26

The next Valorant World Championship is set to take place this coming September. To mark the occasion, Riot Games has now unveiled a song created with the help of some prominent artists.

Once again, Riot Games has reached into its musical bag of tricks and unveiled a new song for the upcoming Valorant World Championship. The track is titled “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” and was created with the collaboration of well-known musicians. Fans can look forward to the voices of Oli Sykes (Bring Me The Horizon) and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox, while Grabbitz once again pulls all the strings as producer.

For Grabbitz, this marks his fourth production in the Valorant universe. He previously contributed three tracks in 2021, 2022, and 2023, which, according to Riot Games, have amassed more than 350 million streams worldwide. For Oli Sykes, however, this marks his first collaboration with the U.S. video game company, while Courtney LaPlante has previously worked with Riot on the song “Ties That Bind” for 2XKO.

“The best collaborations happen when everyone brings a different perspective—and that’s exactly what makes this track so exciting to me,” Grabbitz explains in the official press release. “Oli, Courtney, and I came together from different corners of the world and created a track that effortlessly bridges my electronic world with the heavy soundscapes of Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox.”

World Championship Debut

Valorant fans can already check out a first preview on Valorant’s official YouTube channel. The full release will take place during Champions 2026 in Shanghai.

From September 24 to October 18, the year’s most successful teams will compete there to crown a new world champion. For China, this is also the first time a Valorant World Championship will be held on home soil.
