Austrian striker Sasa Kalajdzic made his long-awaited comeback on Tuesday after more than 500 days out with injury.
The 28-year-old came on as a substitute in the 81st minute of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 3-2 home win over West Ham United in the second round of the English League Cup. Kalajdzic had not played since suffering his third cruciate ligament rupture in February 2024.
