The easyCredit BBL will start its 60th season on September 26, with champions FC Bayern taking on promoted team Science City Jena. Here is an overview of the first match day and important dates throughout the season.
The BBL has published its provisional schedule for the 2025/26 anniversary season. As in 2024, the German champions will open the season this year. On Friday, September 26, at 8 p.m., FC Bayern Basketball will welcome newly promoted Science City Jena to its home arena, BMW Park.
Alba Berlin will not enter the fray until Thursday, October 2, when they play at home against newly promoted Trier (6:30 p.m.).

For the first time in 25 years, Telekom Baskets Bonn is moving to Cologne for a highlight game. Shortly before Christmas, on December 21, they will face champions Bayern Munich at the Lanxess Arena.

The finals are scheduled for June 2026.
