The Swiss Stage of Worlds 2026 is just around the corner – and with it, the next round of Pick’Ems. We’ll explain the rules, show you the rewards and help you with your predictions.
Worlds 2026 isn’t just about the pros. Fans can also win prizes with Riot Games’ official Pick’Ems. If you correctly predict the tournament results, you’ll earn points and secure free rewards for League of Legends. You’ll even be rewarded just for taking part.
Worlds 2026 Pick’Ems: How to take part
You can find the Pick’Ems on the official LoL esports website or directly in the League of Legends client. To take part, you’ll need a Riot Games account.
You could already take part in the prediction game during the Play-Ins. However, if you missed the first phase, you can still join in and collect points. It’s easy to catch up.
The Swiss Stage begins on Friday. Here, you select the eight teams you think will reach the quarter-finals. For three of these teams, you must also predict whether they will progress to the knockout stage with three wins and no losses (3:0), one loss (3:1) or two losses (3:2).
You’ll receive ten points for each correctly predicted quarter-finalist, and a further 15 points for each correct record. That makes a total of 125 points possible. So far, a maximum of 35 points could be earned in the preliminary round.
Please note: Predictions must be submitted before the start of the Swiss Stage on 23 October at 7 pm German time. You can change your selections at any time until then.
What rewards are there?
Simply for taking part, players receive the “Get It Over With” emoji. It shows Ekko rapping into a microphone whilst recording. Those who are particularly successful with their predictions can unlock further rewards:
– The top 50 per cent: “Groovy Puppy” icon – A grinning puppy in a futuristic space suit
– Top 25 per cent: “Hot Dog” emoji – A joyful, panting Naafiri dog in a hot dog bun with ketchup and mustard
– Top 5,000 participants: True Damage Yasuo skin and the champion Yasuo
– Perfect prediction: All seven Ultimate skins and their champions
Crystal Ball rewards
In addition to the classic Pick’Ems, there’s also the Crystal Ball. This involves predicting tournament-wide statistics, such as particularly successful champions. However, betting on these has already closed.
An overview of the rewards:
– Participation: “Best Friends” icon – Colourful Nunu & Willump taking a selfie
– Top 50 per cent: “ALL ABOARD” icon – Ornn is driving a train whilst smoke billows from his helmet. Laughing Poros are running alongside him
– Top 25 per cent: “Wellness Day” emote – Soulflower Volibear sitting in a hot spring, comfortably reading a book.
– Top 5,000 participants: True Damage Yasuo skin and Yasuo champion
The Crystal Ball rewards are rather meagre this year. Whilst in 2025 participants in the knockout stage still received an esports capsule, in 2026 most will only receive icons and emotes. At least, all Ultimate skins are still up for grabs for perfect predictions – even if this feat has so far remained virtually unattainable at Worlds.
Our predictions for the Swiss Stage
Predicting the outcome this year is certainly no easy task. The World Championship remains a real wild card; it’s hard to pick out a clear favourite. Anyone needing help with their predictions can run a simulation of the tournament’s progress online in advance. That’s exactly what we’ve done, and at least for the Swiss Stage, we’ve identified a few clear favourites to progress to the knockout stages:
Gen.G, T1, Hanwha Life Esports, Bilibili Gaming, Anyone’s Legend and Dplus KIA: These teams should be fairly certain to reach the quarter-finals, whilst the other two places remain up for grabs. There are simply too many unpredictable factors that could come into play.
