According to him, there are several corresponding parameters within the client. However, there are still no official hints of the feature in the current patch 12.08. There has also been no confirmation from Riot Games to date.

Currently, players on European servers between the Iron and Gold ranks usually have to wait less than a minute for a match. However, the higher the rank, the longer the search can take. A queue timer could provide more transparency here in future – and save frustration.
