Will Kimmich set Robben’s Bundesliga record today?

Bundesliga victories are quite normal for Joshua Kimmich. Today he even has a new record to look forward to.

Not even Joshua Kimmich was able to prevent the 0:1 defeat in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final at FC Villarreal. But it is usually good news for FC Bayern when he is in the starting eleven.

In the Bundesliga, at any rate, victories are the norm for Kimmich. Of 195 appearances so far – all for FCB – the midfielder has won 149 with 26 draws and 20 defeats. In the home match against FC Augsburg this Saturday, he can even expect to set a Bundesliga record.

So far, only Arjen Robben has managed to break the 150-win mark in just 196 games in Bundesliga history. He is followed by David Alaba (206) and Franck Ribery (207), two other former Bayern greats.
