Where Is Sergio Aguero on the All-Time Premier League Hat-Tricks List?

Sergio Aguero bagged yet another hat-trick in his rich Manchester City career, which got us wondering: Who has the most Premier League hat-tricks in history?

Aguero’s triplet in Manchester City’s 6-1 rout of Huddersfield on Sunday was the Argentinian’s 9th Premier League hat-trick overall. He is the owner of three of the five PL hat-tricks recorded in 2018 but he is doesn’t own the top spot on the all-time Premier League hat-tricks list. That belongs to Alan Shearer. The Newcastle United legend has 11 of those written under his name. Aguero is tied for second place with Liverpool great Robbie Fowler. Here are the top 10.

Out of the current crop of young players, Harry Kane is the one who has the potential to catch Alan Shearer. He’s a fantastic talent and rare breed. Old-fashioned goalscorers like him appear once in a blue moon. Of course, for him to have any chance of getting close to Shearer, he’ll have to stay at Tottenham for a long time, or at least stay in England.
