Timo Glock: Mick Schumacher is “trying it with a crowbar”

Timo Glock understands Mick Schumacher’s situation, but believes he is feeling the pressure from new Haas team-mate Kevin Magnussen

There’s a positive and a negative angle to Mick Schumacher’s 2022 Formula One season so far. Positive: He has a car in the Haas that has scored points in three of the four races so far. Negative: He himself has yet to score a single point – and has clearly lost out to new teammate Kevin Magnussen so far.

The situation with a “really strong” team-mate and a package that is “good enough to finish in the points” is new for Schumacher, analyses Formula 1 expert Timo Glock in an interview with ‘Sky’. And: “Of course, he also tries a bit too much with the crowbar one or two times, overdoes it one or two times.”

Glock admits that Schumacher was “a bit unlucky” (in the sense of having bad luck), but: “He has to see that he evaluates everything well for himself and takes the next step. “
