At the WTA tournament in Concord, the German tennis hopeful Eva Lys has reached the next round.
The 20-year-old German champion won 6-4, 6-3 against Russian number eight seed Kamilla Rakhimova. Lys will now face American Coco Vandeweghe in the last 16 of the 125 tournament.
