A fan is said to have thrown the veil to her. Sabalenka put it on without hesitation, grabbed a small bouquet of flowers, and posed with a smile. Her fiancé, Georgios Frangulis, stood next to her and watched the scene with a grin.
Sabalenka recently raved about her engagement ring, which she even wears during her matches. “It’s very comfortable and sparkles beautifully,” she said with a wink, adding jokingly, “Maybe the diamond distracts my opponents a little – that could help me on the court.”
