Sané travels to the national team on Tuesday – Kane treatment from Monday

FC Bayern are worried about several regular players ahead of the classic against Dortmund. Leroy Sané makes a detour to Frankfurt

Due to his red card in the friendly match in Austria in November, Leroy Sané will miss the German national team in the current phase before the European Championship. However, the Bayern professional will not miss out on the DFB team’s spirit of optimism.

Sané will travel to Frankfurt on Tuesday, spend the day with the team and coach Julian Nagelsmann and watch the international match against the Netherlands in the evening

The 28-year-old has spent the past week training individually at Säbener Straße following patellar tendon and groin problems, spending a lot of time in the gym and with the physios. He will continue his program on Monday and could have some company.

Harry Kane started his return journey to Munich on Sunday. The ankle injury suffered in Darmstadt (5:2) had already prevented the England captain from playing in the test against Brazil (0:1) on Saturday and will not allow him to play any minutes against Belgium on Tuesday.

Question marks behind Kane, Neuer and Guerreiro

The Bundesliga’s top scorer is also due to undergo treatment in Munich from Monday and is just as much a doubt for the Bundesliga top match against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday as goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. The captain had already left the national team before the test in France due to a torn muscle fiber in the adductor area. Goalkeeping coach Michael Rechner had recently stated that he did not expect the 37-year-old to play.

However, there is hope for Raphael Guerreiro, who has resumed running training following a small muscle fiber tear in his left thigh and could be fit in time for the match against his former club. In the first half of the season, the Portuguese had already missed the reunion with his former colleagues due to a torn muscle fiber
