Report: Boris Becker has a new job in prison

Boris Becker is in a prison in London for bankruptcy fraud. Now it has been announced that he may face a challenge there

German tennis legend Boris Becker is currently in a prison in London. HM Prison Huntercombe to be precise. The 54-year-old was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for bankruptcy fraud. Now the “Sun” reports that Becker has been given a new job in prison.

According to the British newspaper, he is said to have been appointed a class assistant. This is said to be close to the role of an assistant teacher. The subject Becker will be teaching in a classroom is said to be sports science.

Exercise and nutrition are probably part of the lessons

According to the report, the benefits of exercise and nutrition are also part of Becker’s teaching. The newspaper goes on to write that the former Wimbledon winner is allegedly not allowed to teach in the gym because he has probably not performed long enough as an inmate.

Whether this is in fact the case, however, is not clear. The Sun also reports family members of other prison inmates criticising Boris Becker’s special treatment.
